Free Java Chat Script

Have you wanted to add a chat room to your web site? Now you can quickly and easily. We include 3 free chat scripts with all of our web hosting plans. These chat scripts are installed directly through our web site control panel. No need to do any manual configuration or installation. All it takes is just a few clicks in our CPanel web site control panel and you can install the chat script of your choice.

Our 3 chat scripts are Entropy Chat, phpMyChat and Java Chat.

Java Chat

If Entropy Chat is too simple for your needs, consider our other free chat script - Java Chat. The Java Chat script uses a lightweight Java applet as the chat room client. It takes a few seconds to download, but since it is Java based it offers your users a number of additional nice-to-have features. A few examples are:

  • Multiple Chat Rooms: Different chat rooms can be setup for different discussions. For instance, one for "Fishing", another for "Swimming" and another for "Surfing".
  • Color Coded Chating: Each user can choose their own color font for chatting. This helps everyone keep track of who is speaking.
  • Enhanced Functionality: Lookup chat user information, perform WHOIS lookups, clear the screen, go full screen and more.
